Welcome to the Dayspring Home, located in the southern state of Tamil Nadu, South India. The Dayspring Home is home to children who have been orphaned from parents who passed away from HIV/AIDS, or from parents who can no longer care for them.
Dayspring Home is directed under BLOSSOM Trust, a non-profit organization who addresses issues concerning women’s and children’s rights in South India.
The home has been operating since 2003 but has recently moved to Chitturr, a village 11 kilometers from Virudhunagar. The new building provides toilets and a large living area for children to play. Its convenient location on a farm (also operated through BLOSSOM) gives children a healthy diet and free rein to explore the expansive surroundings.
